J&J Landscaping works with you to develop detailed landscape plans. The steps involved in a typical landscape project are:
- Initial Consultation: A J&J representative meets with a prospective client at their property to learn about the scope of the project.
- Design Proposal: Clients are presented with a questionnaire that helps the designer understand the project goals. An estimate is provided for the design work. The design fee is $45/hour; designs typically take between 4 and 20 hours to complete.
- Site Survey: A careful site analysis is performed, including measurements of existing structures and features. Site conditions such as sun and wind exposure, drainage, soil type and pests are noted and evaluated.
- Design: The site is drawn up in our CAD program. The finished product is a colored, scaled & detailed drawing. Color photo documents are provided to accompany construction material and planting selections.
- Landscape Proposal: A take-off of the completed design is performed and a proposal is prepared and presented with the final design.
